Contact welding machine with linear stroke of electrodes PEI-POINT series PF INVERTER.

These stationary machines of vertical type are characterized by the fact that they use the rectilinear stroke of the electrode, which is carried out with the aid of an air drive. These powerful modern welding machines are characterized by their increased characteristics, such as welding current or the compression force of the electrodes (in comparison with machines of the radial type).

This machine is equipped with a welding transformer, whose voltage, after straightening, is fed to the welding arc. The DC arc is more stable and has a better dynamic characteristics. The use of inverter technology not only improves the quality of the welding arc, but also increases the efficiency, realizes smooth adjustment of welding parameters, provides a minimum spatter during welding.

The pneumatic cylinder is located directly above the electrode holder, thus it is possible to eliminate slippage of the electrode. The length of the vertical contact machine is fixed. However, if more clearance is required between the electrodes, it is possible to add the option of reverse, double or adjustable stroke of the cylinder.
There are two modifications in the PF INVERTER series: 136, 181.

Features:

- all machines of the PF INVERTER series have a strong mechanical design, are characterized by high build quality and reliability in operation;

- water cooling of the transformer, arms along the entire length and electrodes increases the permissible time of continuous operation of the apparatus and allows working with sheets of metal of greater thickness;

- durable electrodes made of copper-chromium alloy, designed for long-term high loads during heavy duty operation;

- built-in safety thermostats that monitor the temperature of contact surfaces;

- the design of the lower arm can be further strengthened and equipped with a platform for projection welding (in model PF INVERTER 181);

- an installation is provided for the safe start of the welding process with both hands (in model PF INVERTER 181);

- digital welding controller PX1700 with a wide range of functionality that provides control over the welding process. It has a built-in memory, supports recording up to 10 (optionally up to 100) different welding programs. Allows you to adjust the welding time, current rise time, number and frequency of welding pulses, electrode retention time after welding, automatic repetition of the welding cycle, etc.;
