Characteristics
- fixing the rivet creates a closing head with a large diameter;
- after setting the mandrel head might remain within the rivet body or might drop out;
- especially suitable for connections with wood, hardboard, fibreglass, plasterboard or similar;
- relatively soft or porous materials can be joined together with high tensile forces.
To install a rivet you need a manual or pneumohydraulic riveting tool "riveter". To install a standard rivet 2,4 / 3,0 / 3,2 / 4,0 / 4,8 / 5,0 riveters are used: one-handed riveter GO-55, riveter GO-3 reinforced, riveter GO-360, two-handed riveter GO-40, pneumohydraulic riveter RL 20A, pneumohydraulic riveting pistol AIRPOWER 1, battery pistol GO-100. For the standard rivet installation 4,0 / 4,8 / 5,0 / 6,0 / 6,4 riveters are used: riveter GO-25-SN, pneumohydraulic riveter AIRPOWER 2, pneumohydraulic riveter RL 40N, battery riveter GO-200. To install reinforced rivets, the AIRPOWER 3 pneumohydraulic rivet tool is used, the pneumohydraulic riveter RL 100 is used to install the reinforced rivet nut, and the pneumohydraulic riveter RL 75 is used to install the pin joints.
