Astro Blue Steel Max-Duty 2-Piece step drill set, precision hole making. 

These drills from the American supplier Astro Pneumatic Tool® are designed to perform two main tasks:
- expansion of existing holes to the required size;
- removal of unnecessary threaded rivets from the holes by drilling them;

These drills differ from many others with a special TiALN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating, which gives the drills a specific blue sheen. But this is not just a decorative coating, as in some other models - this coating provides extremely high resistance to overheating and wear resistance. Such a drill can work longer, drill thicker metal without overheating, and last longer than its counterparts. They are machined from high-strength steel on a robotic machine with program control, so strength and shape accuracy are ensured. Shanks reinforced trihedral.

The kit includes 2 different size drill bits that together cover a size range from 1/32" to 3/4". The specially beveled tread edges and the 135° pointed tip are perfect for drilling over 30 different types of threaded rivets from M3 to M12.
